The Sun Inn boasts one of Frome's largest courtyard gardens and is well known for its real ales, cold filter beers, traditional 'rough' Somerset cider and large selection of spirits. The Bar With large screen t.v.'s inside and out, The Sun Inn is a very popular sporting venue, with live sporting events shown throughout the year. All Sky and Setanta premiereship football matches are shown, plus many other major sporting events. The Garden Fully refurbished in June 2007, the courtyard is a wonderful sun trap and a beautiful area to sit and relax. Enjoying a drink al fresco is very popular in the summer months and there is seating for over 50 people. With an outside t.v. everyone can their their favourite team whilst still enjoying the garden. Currently a snack menu is available from the bar but with a full menu set to be introduced in spring 2008, the courtyard will be one of Frome's largest outdoor dining areas.
